STEALING EYES

"Eye contact between two is a great sin"

A crime which makes one a thief and the other a plunderer.

"Windows to soul" I scoffed

Windows can be closed too.

I have met shifty eyes, patient ones, shy ones, wannabe intimidators and intimidating eyes.

And with all—I have left a piece of me, to the vulnerability of being seen and being known.
